Delete Your Account

RentKeep stores all your data locally on your device. We do not store your personal data on our servers. You have full control over your data at all times.

How to Delete Your Data

You can delete all your RentKeep data using any of these methods:

Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open the RentKeep app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Clear All Data" or "Reset App"
  4. Confirm the deletion

This will permanently delete all properties, tenants, payments, invoices, and maintenance records from the app.

Option 2: Uninstall the App

  1. Long-press the RentKeep app icon on your device
  2. Select "Uninstall" or "Delete App"
  3. Confirm the removal

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

Option 3: Clear App Data (Android)

  1. Go to your device Settings
  2. Navigate to Apps → RentKeep
  3. Tap "Storage"
  4. Tap "Clear Data"

What Gets Deleted

  • All property and unit information
  • All tenant details and contact information
  • All rent payment records and invoices
  • All maintenance request history
  • All reports and financial summaries
  • All app settings and preferences
  • All backup files stored within the app

Important Notes

  • This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered unless you have a backup.
  • We recommend exporting your data before deletion if you need it for tax or accounting purposes.
  • If you created backups to external storage (e.g., Google Drive, iCloud), those files will not be automatically deleted. You will need to remove them manually.
